In 2015, we committed to powering our facilities and cloud computing services with 100% renewable energy by 2020.
Learn moreFrom planning conferences and business travel to designing more efficient facilities, we continually work to improve our environmental performance.
We measure the carbon impact of meeting travel and seek to reduce it through virtual meetings, partner education and partner sustainability rating. During tax year 2015, this programme saved Autodesk more than US$1 million.
We have 19 LEED certifications, representing 32% of our total square footage.*
Our corporate-finance approach to climate-stabilisation targets (C-FACT) methodology is a science-based approach to help companies develop GHG emissions reduction targets. Learn more
See how we integrate sustainability into Autodesk University, one of our largest annual conferences (video: 4.22 min.). For the first time, in 2015, Autodesk University was carbon neutral.
In addition to our commitment to 100% renewable energy for our cloud servers, we strive to minimise energy use, select equipment according to respected industry standards and have a global e-waste programme.
We tap into the creativity, expertise and passion of our employees through our Employee Impact programme. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of employee networks, pro bono volunteering opportunities and company matching funds for employee gifts of time and money to nonprofit organisations.
We provide a relevant and timely curriculum that is easy to access anytime, anywhere and offers options to suit varying learning styles, time commitments and accessibility. That is only one of the reasons we have consistently ranked in Fortune's 100 Best Places to Work.
Our commitment to health and wellness begins with helping employees and their spouses or partners stay fit and minimise health concerns. Many of our facilities offer gyms and walking desks and our wellness campaign includes events like the Global Corporate Challenge
Autodesk recognises that the future of making things also involves understanding the future of who is making things. As a result, we are creating a diverse and inclusive organisation through the recruitment, retention and development of all segments of the global workforce. We strive to create a better world where anyone can imagine, design and create.
At Autodesk, we participate in public policy debate to advance innovation, sustainability and economic growth. During tax year 2015, our Government Affairs Team and other key company representatives engaged with government officials, nonprofit organisations, think tanks and other entities to advance sustainability principles with a focus on clean technology, climate change and building and infrastructure development.
We strive to maintain an environment that demonstrates strong business ethics and our Code of Business Conduct (CoBC) conveys our values and expectations. All Autodesk employees worldwide are required to complete CoBC training annually.
We promote and protect human rights wherever we do business and we expect our suppliers and other business partners to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Our Human Rights Policy describes these commitments, as well as how we promote human rights among employees, suppliers, business partners and customers.
We use our purchasing power and influence to promote socially and environmentally responsible business practices across our value chain. Our Partner Code of Conduct outlines the standards and practices we expect our resellers and distributors to follow while conducting business with or on behalf of Autodesk and our green procurement guidelines describe environmental considerations that can factor into our selection of vendors and products.
