Professional CAD/CAM tools built on Inventor and AutoCAD
This course will explore workflows that support the convergence between mechanical engineering and BIM projects. The core business of a design and manufacturing company is its products, engineered with solutions like Autodesk Inventor, Fusion and AutoCAD. The workflows covered in this course will demonstrate how this existing design data can be prepared and consumed by architects and construction professionals at a level of detail that is appropriate for BIM Projects.

Having completed this course, you will be able to:
By the end of this module, you will be able to convert configurable 3D CAD models from Inventor into BIM objects so architects and contractors could use your products in their projects. The manufacturing model has a level of detail and IP unnecessary for BIM, so it needs to be simplified and prepared for BIM.
Please note, this module does not include the Inventor to Revit Interoperability workflows introduced in Inventor 2022.
