Pipe and pressure networks

Module overview

Use the pipe network features in Civil 3D to draw 2D and 3D models of utility systems, such as storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and more. The workflow for creating pressure networks is similar but there are a few differences and this section covers both workflows. You’ll also learn how to create a parts list and work with the pipe network and pressure network part catalogs that come with Civil 3D.

After completing this module, you'll learn how to:

• Set up the part catalog and parts list for pipe networks and pressure networks
• Create, modify, and annotate pipe networks
• Choose pipe network flow direction
• Create pressure networks and add plan and profile view labels
