DEEPAK MAINI: Hey, guys.
00:01
Welcome to the second course of this learning part.
00:05
In this course, we are going to look at the fantastic issue
00:09
creation and management workflow of BIM 360 Model Coordination
00:13
module to review, manage, and resolve clashes.
00:20
We are going to start with managing clashes.
00:24
And managing clashes is the process
00:26
of ignoring certain clashes, such as valid penetrations.
00:31
In our case, we may not have modeled
00:33
penetrations for the slabs.
00:35
But we can still see those pipes running through those slabs,
00:38
which means they are clashing.
00:40
But we can select those clashes, and we can change them
00:42
into non-issues.
00:45
However, the clashes that are problematic--
00:48
we are going to create issues using those clashes.
00:52
We will then take the information
00:54
in those issues such as the element IDs of the elements
00:57
that are clashing into Revit, and then we
00:60
are going to modify those elements to resolve
01:02
those clashes.
01:03
We will then change the status of those issues in the document
01:07
management module.
01:09
And lastly, we will review whether changing those elements
01:13
in Revit actually resolve those clashes, and if they have,
01:17
we are going to change the status of those issues
01:20
to closed.
01:22
So basically, we are going to go through this complete process
01:26
of starting with creating issues using clashes,
01:29
then resolving those clashes in Revit,
01:32
changing the status of the issues,
01:34
then reviewing whether changing the elements in Revit
01:37
actually resolved the clashes or not, and if they have,
01:41
then changing the status of those issues to closed.
