Add visual details to the model

00:15

Now, you can also, from here, take this and add information into it.

00:20

So, if you are showing this project to somebody, and they want some kind of detail, either emphasized or maybe changed.

00:30

In this case, I'm going to add in some trees.

00:33

I'm going to do this to the far side so that we don't have to run through the entire roadway.

00:38

I'll go to the Crate tab of the ribbon, Environment Panel.

00:41

I'll go to the Stand of Trees.

00:44

And I'm going to choose that tree right there.

00:50

And I'm going to put these in here.

00:54

I'm creating an area of trees.

00:57

I'll double click and add those in.

01:00

And I'll close that drawing.

01:01

So now, from here, those trees are added, but they're so small.

01:07

I'm going to grab the arrow to heighten those trees.

01:12

I probably grab too small of a tree type there.

01:16

I'll add those in and lift those up some.

01:20

I can also change the density, so how many trees are in the area that I placed.

01:25

And now, I'll left click off to the side, and those trees will be in place.

01:29

If I hit "Stop" and hit "Play".

01:33

Unfortunately, those trees are just off the side of our hill.

01:37

In fact, I'm going to use my camera location here to redo that.

01:40

I'll do the Environment, Stand of Trees, I'll do Spruce Trees.

01:53

And add those trees in.

01:55

So, when I start the view again, I click "Play", and you can see those are in the shots of my model.

02:06

In fact, they were still selected as I was doing it because this is a live model as you're working with it.
