We will go over how to place an imported building onto a site on the canvas in Forma.

First navigate to the library.

Click the icon of the file.

In this case, we're looking at an imported OBJ file.

Once you click the item, you'll enter a mode to place the building on any part of your canvas.

To set the building, click once.

Once you click to place the building, it will say element added to proposal.

When completed, your building will be placed onto the canvas,

and you will have a generic item added to your proposal layers.

You can edit the orientation of the building using the rotate and move buttons on the bottom of the design toolbar.

Select the "Move" button and click a reference point.

In this case, I'm going to choose one of the corners of the building and align it to the site limit.

You can also move a building by dragging it.

We can also rotate the building by using the "Rotate" button on the design toolbar.

I'm going to click the same corner and also set my reference angle as well.
