Any time an asset is uploaded to Flow Capture,
00:12
we'll always transcode a number of proxy files at lower playback resolutions.
00:17
This allows users to view content on the platform
00:20
even if they have a slower connection speed.
00:23
However, if you'd like to prevent users from viewing at these lower resolutions,
00:28
you can do so using the allow playback
00:30
resolution toggles which can be set for any folder.
00:34
To do so, first select the folder in question
00:37
and then click the asset options tab on the right.
00:41
Once you do, you'll see an allowable playback resolution section
00:46
with a toggle next to each of the following resolutions.
00:55
and 4K.
00:58
Each of these resolutions can be toggled on or off depending on your preference.
01:03
And only those left on will be playable.
01:06
For example, if we leave 720, 2K
01:11
and 4K turned on,
01:13
users will only be able to view content at those resolutions.
01:17
Note that for each upload Flow Capture will always generate these proxy
01:22
file transcodes regardless of which toggles are on or off.
01:26
In other words, these toggles dictate which trends codes are playable,
01:31
not which trends codes are generated
01:34
because of this. You can always adjust these options any time you like
01:37
and the trans codes will be available for playback right away
01:40
without the need to re upload your files.
