When viewing the participant details column in the managed teams panel,
00:11
you may notice that some users have multiple permissions listed.
00:15
Since users could be added to folders in multiple ways,
00:18
and since they could be a member of multiple teams,
00:21
Flow Capture will always show you all of
00:23
the permissions that a user has been granted,
00:26
so that those permissions can be effectively managed.
00:31
For example,
00:32
this user has three permissions listed in the folder in question:
00:37
viewer,
00:38
downloader,
00:40
and uploader.
00:41
Let's look at each one individually.
00:44
At the top,
00:45
we simply see the name of the folder in
00:47
question along with their role and their permission set.
00:51
This means that this user was assigned to this folder
00:54
directly from the contacts column with the default permission
00:58
of viewer.
00:59
Next we see team three downloaders,
01:02
which is the name of one of our teams on this production.
01:06
That means that this user was added to this team
01:08
and that team was assigned to this folder with
01:11
the default permission set applied to all users,
01:13
which in this case was Downloader.
01:16
Lastly, this user is also a member of the team two uploader team,
01:21
which has also been added to this folder.
01:25
Whenever a user has multiple permission sets on a folder,
01:28
Flow Capture will always honor the highest permission set.
01:32
In this example
01:33
then, the user would have downloaded permissions on this folder,
01:37
since that's the highest permission set of the three.
01:42
If a user is a member of a team
01:44
and that team is removed from that folder,
01:46
you'll see that permission set disappear.
01:49
In this example, when the team three downloaders team is removed,
01:53
that permission set will be removed for this user.
01:58
Uut of the remaining permissions, Uploader is the higher of the two,
02:01
so this user will now have the uploader permission set on this folder.
02:09
You may also encounter a user with a permission level Playlinks,
02:13
along with another permission level.
02:15
All this means is that they've been sent a Playlink from this folder
02:19
and they've been added as a folder participant as well.
