Use the information panel

00:08

The desktop section features an information panel on the right hand side

00:12

that serves as a quick snapshot of the selected production or folder.

00:17

The information displayed here is divided into

00:19

several sections which will go through in depth.

00:22

Note that you may not see all these sections in your information panel,

00:26

as the availability of the information is based on

00:29

your user permissions for that production or folder.

00:33

First, we'll go through the various sections

00:36

you'll see when you have a folder selected on the left.

00:39

In our example here,

00:40

we've selected the folder entitled color review.

00:46

The first section is your basic information which includes the name

00:49

of the folder as well as the production that it lives under.

00:54

Each production also lives within a group which you'll see listed as well.

00:58

And if that folder has a description included, that will also be displayed.

01:04

Moving on to the overview section,

01:06

you'll discover general information about the

01:08

folder, including its creation date,

01:11

the number of rooms associated with the production itself,

01:14

number of sub folders,

01:16

the folder contains the number of assets found within our folder,

01:20

and the current storage usage that folder is taking up.

01:26

The settings summary section offers a preview of the

01:29

settings that have been applied to your folder,

01:31

providing a quick glance at the security and playback configuration.

01:36

Lastly, at the bottom,

01:38

you'll notice a palette of colors allowing you to

01:41

color code your folders for easy visual identification.

01:46

If you select a production on the left,

01:48

the information displayed is essentially the same.

01:52

However,

01:53

you'll also notice an additional section called Production Image appears.

01:58

This section allows you to upload a poster for your

02:01

production to add a personalized touch to your desktop.
