Flow Capture gives you the flexibility to define the security level for your
00:12
playlinks using the playlink access type drop down found on the options tab.
00:18
The default type will always be Inbox only, ensuring the highest level of security.
00:23
Inbox only playlinks are sent directly to the user's Flow Capture inbox,
00:28
and if you've enabled email notifications,
00:31
they'll receive a message at the address linked
00:33
to their Flow Capture account as well.
00:36
The next option down is the link with folder security option.
00:41
This access type will send a web link to all
00:43
recipients, which can then be viewed in a browser window
00:47
when clicked.
00:50
For both of these highly secure access types,
00:52
the recipients must log in using their Flow Capture
00:55
account credentials before they can view the content.
00:59
If they haven't set up an email and password combination,
01:02
they'll be prompted to do so before being able to access the playlink.
01:08
The third option is link with access code, which is a medium secure playlink.
01:13
This option sends a web link to the recipients but doesn't
01:17
require those who receive it to have a Flow Capture account.
01:20
Instead, after clicking the link,
01:22
the recipient will need to enter an auto-generated
01:24
access code, which will also be emailed.
01:29
The access code will only allow them to view the specific playlink and nothing else.
01:36
Lastly, we have link without access code, which is our least secure option.
01:42
This access type sends a simple web link to
01:44
the recipients and it doesn't require an access code
01:47
or for the user to log in to a Flow Capture account in order to view the content.
01:52
Keep in mind that the medium and least secure options aren't recommended when
01:57
sending out your most sensitive materials, due to the lower level of security.
02:01
However,
02:02
they're there when and if you need
02:04
them, allowing you flexibility for sending out playlinks.
02:10
To recap these access types,
02:12
the two highly secure access types require
02:15
the recipients to have a Flow Capture account
02:17
and enter their login credentials.
02:19
Whereas the medium secure and the least secure do not.
