Learn how to open and close a Room

00:09

Once you've created your room and added assets and participants,

00:12

you can start your review session by clicking on open room.

00:18

When you do, anyone who is a participant will receive

00:21

an email informing them that a room has been started

00:23

that they're invited to, and they'll be able to jump right in.

00:27

If you don't want your users to get this email until later,

00:30

you can open your room with only you as

00:32

the participant and then add the other participants

00:35

once it's already opened.

00:37

Whenever your room session is complete, you can close a room in one of two ways.

00:42

The first is by selecting close room. When you leave the room,

00:49

clicking leave and close will then close it for all participants.

00:53

Note that if you don't select close room, whenever you leave the room,

00:57

it will remain open for anyone else who is a participant,

00:60

even without the host present.

01:03

The other way you can close a room is from the room's admin tab.

01:07

Just select the room, then click the options menu at the top and click close a room.

01:15

Note that your rooms can be filtered by all,

01:19

open and draft,

01:20

and closed.

01:21

You can also elect to see only the rooms that you're a host on,

01:25

which will filter out any rooms on which you're only an invited participant.

01:29

If you want to reopen a room,

01:31

click on the closed filter, find the room you want to open

01:34

and click reopen room.
