Create annotations

00:08

In addition to the ability to leave text comments on an asset,

00:12

you can also include in app annotations, allowing

00:15

you to get very specific with your review feedback.

00:18

To leave an annotation while viewing an asset,

00:20

first click on the comments icon on the right hand side.

00:24

Above the add comment field,

00:26

you'll notice several annotation icons, including a pencil for free drawing, a

00:30

beacon,

00:32

an arrow,

00:33

a rectangle,

00:33

and a circle.

00:35

You'll also be able to choose the color of your annotation using the color figure.

00:40

Once you've selected your tool and color,

00:42

you can then use your mouse to annotate your asset

00:45

however you'd like.

00:50

When you're satisfied with your annotations,

00:52

you can then add your comment alongside them by clicking

00:55

into the add a comment field, typing your comment,

01:02

and hitting enter, as per usual.

01:05

If you'd like to leave an annotation without leaving a text comment,

01:09

you can do so by annotating as normal

01:13

and then leaving the add a comment field blank.

01:16

Just be sure to still hit enter so that your annotation is saved.

01:22

Annotations behave in the same way as comments.

01:25

They're viewable by anyone with access,

01:27

they'll be included if you export your comments,

01:29

and they capture the dynamic range,

01:32

playback resolution,

01:33

and time code.
