We're going to begin with the supplied data set, bevel edged

We're gonna be using the bevel tool to add some harder edges to this design.

First, we're gonna select the design. We

want to go to utilities and change the display mode to box display.

When we're taking a look at a design and box display,

this helps us better identify and understand

where some sharper transition should be.

We can see that we might have a sharper transition on this edge

as well as this edge,

this edge here and potentially down here.

If I go back to a smooth display,

we can see exactly which edges we might want to tighten up our design,

we're gonna say, OK.

And with those edges selected, go to modify and select bevel edge,

we're gonna change the bevel location to 0.1

which will allow us to go 10% of the way from our selected edge

toward the next available edge in both directions.

Using the segments of one will allow us to remove our selected edge and add an edge.

what this allows us to do is create a nice tight transition in those areas.

We can see as we rotate our design around.

And if we use our view options for visual style, just to shade it,

we can see now we have some tighter transitions on the overall edges of our design.

This can really help take a design to the next level
