In this video, will create and export an NC program.
00:06
After completing this step, you'll be able to create an NC program and export code from an NC program.
00:14
In fusion 360, we want to carry on with our coupler for CNC mill example.
00:18
At this point, we've already created an NC program previously in this course but we want to take a look at how it works with multiple wcs offsets.
00:27
So with opt to selected, we're going to go into setup and we're going to create an NC program.
00:33
We're going to be using our hosts next gen control and we're going to set this up as 1006 for our program number,
00:40
and the comment is going to be coupler OP two or OP2, we're not using DWO or TCPC and we're not using an A B or C rotary axis.
00:52
But we are going to go into the operations and we want to select all of OP2.
00:57
When we do this I want to note that it's using work offs at one than two and finally three when we do this,
01:05
we can reorder to minimize tool changes and when it reorders those,
01:10
it will allow us to modify the tool changes based on the different options that we're using I'm going to select post.
01:19
And I'm gonna overwrite 1006 that's already in my temp folder.
01:23
Now you can see that we've started a program referencing G54.
01:28
And if we do a control F and we find G 55 again, we've got adaptive in G 56 adaptive again.
01:36
So this is giving us the same thing that we had when we used actions and post process.
01:42
However, we are able to go in and make some modifications and determine the order of operations,
01:47
whether or not we want to export everything and we can determine whether or not we want to maybe include OP one in that program.
01:55
One of the great benefits of using the N.C. program is the ability to modify, save, post and create setup sheets all directly from that NC program.
02:06
At this point, let's go ahead and save before we move on to the next step.
