In this video, will create views on a detailed drawing.
00:06
After completing this step, you'll be able to create a section view and a detailed view.
00:13
In fusion 360, we want to carry on with our coupler for production drawing.
00:17
We've already added our base view in our projected views.
00:20
So now we're going to take a look at creating a section view and a detailed view.
00:24
We're going to start by creating a section view and we need to select the view that we want to use and then we need to draw our section line.
00:32
This can be done by snapping to geometry or we can have the line extends all the way through the part.
00:38
And once we're happy with the line we can either use the green check mark to continue or right click and select continue.
00:45
Then we need to drag it to a new location, change any of the parameters in the drawing view dialog that are needed or say okay.
00:53
If the note is overlapping another view, we can simply drag it to a new location and then we can left click anywhere else in the drawing.
01:02
Next let's take a look at creating a detailed view.
01:05
Once again we need to select the drawing view and then in this case we need to select the center point for a circle that's going to be drawn,
01:12
and we're going to go ahead and drag this out just large enough to capture the entire spine and the outside of the coupler.
01:18
And then we need to place this view.
01:21
Once place we can modify the parameters such as the scale, whether or not we want to change the style or the tangent edge display.
01:29
We're going to say okay, and once again, I'm going to reposition the B in notation until I'm happy with its position.
01:36
Now that we have our section view in our detailed view. Let's go ahead and save the drawing before moving on.
