In this video, will export to a pdf.
00:06
After completing this step, you'll be able to use output pdf and create a drawing share link.
00:13
In fusion 360, we want to carry on with our coupler for production drawing.
00:17
We've added a lot of notes details to our detailed drawing and at this point it's time for us to export it.
00:24
Now, I will say we didn't completely go through and add all the details required of a detailed drawing.
00:29
We simply touched on all the elements that are required such as dimensions, geometry, symbols and texts.
00:36
So from here, what we want to do is we want to figure out how to add those final details to our title block and export this to a pdf.
00:44
In the title block we can double click on it which will open up our title block properties.
00:49
This will give us access to attributes and we can simply select these attributes and enter their values.
00:56
Document type, and I'm going to call this prototype.
01:00
Drawing number, 1001.
01:04
Revision, A.
01:07
Date of issue, 5-5-21.
01:12
And all of these different parameters or attributes can be entered,
01:16
And then we can finish the properties and now they're inside of our detailed drawing.
01:20
From here, we're going to make a quick last save and then we're going to select export. Notice that we have four different options.
01:28
We can do a pdf, a .dwg, a dxf or a csv.
01:33
I should note that the csv option is only available for tables in a detailed drawing of which we don't have any.
01:40
So we're going to select export pdf, we can select all sheets, we can export the line weights and we can open the pdf one completed.
01:49
In this case, our drawing only has a single sheet.
01:52
If you're drawing had more than one sheet, you could select all sheets, specific sheets or only the one that was selected.
01:58
In this case, will simply say all sheets and then we'll save the pdf.
02:03
It automatically opens up and it shows all the information that we created.
02:08
So what other ways can we share our detailed drawing.
02:12
Well, designs can be shared with a share link and detailed drawings can have a share link as well.
02:17
We simply go to our file dropdown and select public link.
02:21
When we go to public link, notice that it has a caution or an information that tells us that it has references to one or more other designs.
02:30
If we share a link to the detailed drawing, it will also be sharing the reference designs.
02:36
So it's important to keep in mind that whenever we're sharing a detailed drawing with a share link,
02:42
that the original design in this case are coupler for production would also be available to anybody who has that share link.
02:51
We could prevent the item from being downloaded.
02:54
We could turn the download option off and send them the share link.
02:57
And then they would only be able to view the items online rather than actually downloading them.
03:02
But this is another great way that we can share the information in our detailed drawing by creating that share link,
03:07
which can be viewable on a web page by anybody.
03:11
At this point, if you made any additional changes, make sure that you do save before moving on.
