Let's go over a few of the shortcuts we can use to navigate Flow Production Tracking.

We're going to look over navigating with the arrow keys,

First, let's talk about navigating with the arrow keys.

You can use the up and down keys to quickly move

through messages and tasks in the Inbox and My Tasks menu.

The arrow keys can also be used to quickly navigate the media app.

You can use the up and down arrows to sort through projects,

use the left and right keys to expand out the menu options or to collapse them.

Next, let's talk about the global search bar.

To quickly jump to the global search bar, select Q or S on your keyboard.

Both options will bring your cursor into the search bar.

Start typing what you're looking for,

select the escape key to cancel the search.

Now, let's take a look at creating new entities from the global navigation menu

and using the entity creation form.

The plus sign is used to create a new entity.

To quickly jump to the new entity creation menu,

To quickly choose one of the available entities,

start typing the name of the entity.

For example, if I type C I will jump to Contract.

What about a case where you have multiple entities that start with the same letter?

For example, page, phase, and playlist which all start with P.

If I type P I will jump to Page, if I type ph, I will jump to Phase.

I want to create three new shots and I want them to all be a part of Hyperspace Madness.

Since I'm creating the shot from a global page, Flow Production Tracking doesn't

know what project I want these shots to be a part of.

So I need to fill in the project and select Hyperspace Madness.

In this scenario, I want all three shots to have the same tasks,

so I will apply a task template.

I can create this shot by selecting Create Shot.

But if I select Create Shot,

I will need to fill in the creation form three times over to

make my three shots. To make creating these three shots easier,

If I hold down the alt or option key, before selecting Create Shot,

I will now get a new button option to Create Shot and keep form values.
