Course 1 - Haas and Autodesk Fusion - Blueprints, CAD, CAM, and CNC
Course overview
This course focuses on the digital manufacturing process, providing a solid foundation to build upon. You'll apply this knowledge to review a blueprint for a CAD model intended for manufacturing, set up digital manufacturing, prepare a vertical CNC mill for operation, and machine and inspect a part.
After completing this course, you’ll be able to:
- Identify parts of a blueprint.
- Identify GD&T symbols and Datums.
- Create a CAM setup for manufacturing.
- Understand machine safety best practices.
- Set up a VMC for use including indicating a vise and setting up tooling.
- Operate a CNC mill.
- Inspect a machined part.
