At this stage,

we've already taken a look at how we can model stock

and use that in a new setup in Fusion 3 60.

And we've been able to review tool paths that were created in order to machine

one of our piston.

The next step in the process is to figure out how we can get that information

out to the machine to make sure that we can machine our part.

So there are two steps to this

process and that's understanding what information is needed

and how we can generate it in fusion 3 60.

So first the information that's needed is going to be the N

C program or the actual code that will operate the machine.

And then we also need a set up sheet or

information to tell the operator what tools are being used,

the stock size where the stock is

located and where the coordinate system references.

So in order to do that. The next step in the process is for us to activate and select

go to our setup, drop down and create what's called an N C program.

An N C program is a great way for us to contain all the information needed.

The first thing that we need to do is we need to select the post processor.

The post processor is going to be the translation

between the tool path we created in fusion 3 60

the actual machine that's going to be cutting the part.

In order to do this,

we can go to a drop down and see any recent machines that were being used.

You can also use the pencil icon to make changes if you have a post that you can edit.

But in our case, what we're gonna do is select a post from the post library

inside of here. We're going to take a look at the fusion 3 60 library.

We're gonna go to our filters and we're

gonna begin filtering by first capability selecting milling

and then the vendor selecting ho

Once we're in ho

automation, taking a look at the options we have.

We can see that there are many different types of machines that are in here.

For example, we've got a

an S T 55. So we have some of these different types of machines.

But the one we're looking for in this case is going to be one of our V F series.

So as we scroll through here, you can see that we've got nextgen

And if there is a specific machine that you need to use,

make sure that you do select that.

However, for us, we're gonna be using the

Notice that the N G C does support many different machines.

and make sure that we're not trying to feed it feed rates or speeds that are

too high or X Y Z travels that are past the limits of that machine.

We also have an option to copy to my posts.

And then next, we need to determine what the name,
