Hi there, I'm Mark Terry Barry from,
00:11
and I'm Kurt Chan from
00:13
Autodesk Auto
00:13
Desk and
00:14
have combined our expertise in CNC machining and CAD CAM
00:18
software to ensure that you'll learn practical and important skills.
00:22
We're excited to introduce blueprints. CAD CAM and CNC brought to you by
00:27
and auto desk.
00:28
Now,
00:28
this first course will explore the important world
00:31
of blueprints while introducing CAD CAM and CNC.
00:35
So why is this important
00:37
blueprints guide the manufacturing process and
00:39
define detailed plans and specifications.
00:41
Machinists need to be able to read and
00:44
interpret blueprints accurately that meet required specification.
00:48
We will also cover the G 54 command.
00:50
Now,
00:50
G 54 is important for machinists to know it
00:53
is our shared part origin both in our machine
00:56
and in fusion 360.
00:57
Without knowing the exact location of our origin point,
01:01
the CNC machine would not know where to start machining.
01:04
The resulting part would be inaccurate or unstable.
01:07
By the time you finish this course,
01:09
you'll be able to identify different parts of the blueprint,
01:12
understand basic GD and T symbols and datas and create a CAM, set up,
01:17
set up and operate a host vertical mall and inspect a machine part.
01:22
We're confident that this course will provide you with the skills and
01:26
knowledge that you need to excel in your next machining project.
01:30
So what are you waiting for? Let's get to work.

So what are you waiting for? Let's get to work.
In this course, you're introduced to blueprint reading, CAM setup, machine safety, and operation, and inspection. This course focuses on the steps throughout the process of digital manufacturing to lay a foundation to build upon. You apply this knowledge and review a blueprint for a CAD model for manufacture, setup digital manufacturing, prepare a vertical CNC mill for operation, machine and inspect a part.
After completing this course, you’ll be able to:
