The template for the plan production is very important.
00:08
We have different types of templates.
00:10
We have the plan view only, the profile view only, the plan view and profile view, and the cross-section view.
00:16
Here is a video to show you the importance of the template.
00:23
So here, I have my project.
00:25
Okay. And now, I want to deliver 2D plans because the files as a PDF is the type of delivery.
00:37
So first, I will check the settings of my template.
00:41
As you can see, there are different types of templates.
00:44
Imperial unit, metric unit, plan and profile, section views, and etcetera.
00:51
Because in plan production, we need to fit our model into a certain size of the paper,
00:59
we will need to set up, obviously, the dimension of the sheet of paper but also the scales.
01:15
Here, this is a confined environment for my profile view.
01:19
And I set up my scale 1 to 2,000.
01:23
Also, in the title block in the template, we'll be able to insert some automatic attributes,
01:31
such as project name, the date, the scale, the name of the drafter, etcetera.
01:38
And when you will create your 2D plans, you will use these templates to automatically create your plan production.
01:53
So, this is the result.
01:54
I used my model. And I used the template I just showed you in the video.
01:58
And this is the result I have where I have my plan view and my profile view.
