After opening a network in the GeoPlan, you can view and edit the properties of network objects using property sheets.
00:11
Property sheets allow you to edit the properties of an object.
00:16
To complete this exercise either, create a new network and import 1D Sewer Network.isfm or open an existing network in the GeoPlan.
00:28
To view and edit all data for a particular object, open the corresponding property sheet.
00:35
On the GeoPlan Tools toolbar, click the Information tool, and then select the object—in this case, a node—from the GeoPlan.
00:45
Alternatively, you can double click the object with the select tool active.
00:51
If your model view is zoomed out or multiple objects intersect when you click in the GeoPlan, a Multiple Selection window appears.
01:01
From here, you can select the single object you want.
01:05
The Object Properties Window opens to display data for the node, such as ground level, and chamber area.
01:13
Each row has a value field, an inline validation box for highlighting errors, and a flag field for tracking data sources.
01:23
Here in this example, there are no additional flags set, except for the #D flag.
01:30
To edit any value simply type in the field or select a new value from the available drop-down menu.
01:38
By default, the Properties window is docked on the left side of the interface with the Database window.
01:45
To move it, click the Properties title bar and drag the window to a different location.
01:51
Drop it to dock the window in the location highlighted in blue.
01:56
To return the Properties window to its default location, drag the title bar back to the bottom left of the screen.
