Step-by-step Guide

InfoWorks WS Pro has the capacity to load and link to many different types of live databases. These processes can range in complexity from using relatively simple CSV data to more complicated remote servers.

A live data point allows users to link real-world data to a model. InfoWorks WS Pro allows each object to have a single live data input, such as pressure, flow, pump status, and so forth.

The data source does not necessarily need to be near-real time; it can be historical data stored on a remote database, such as an SQL server, or it can be from a file located on a user’s computer.

Live data points are configured in a Live Data Configuration object.
