list on the 150-pound flange gate valve.

This is going to allow us to have all the sizes available

for this item.

Let's get started.

Right-click on Gate Valve that we built in the last video

and select Create Product List.

You will now see we have an Edit Product List button.

You must click OK for these changes to take effect.

It will ask you to Save Item File As.

We'll click Save.

When this warning "Overwrite existing icon image file,"

just select No.

Now we can go back to the item and edit the Gate Valve.

Some of the descriptions I like to rename to keep straight--

for instance, Length #1.

I'm going to click on the E. And in the description,

I'm going to put "Left length."

Click OK, then continue labeling a few more.

Now we can use some built-in calculations

and add some of our own calculations.

Diameter #1, the inlet, is the same as Diameter

Click on the value of Diameter #2 and use the Dropdown,

and set it to Equal.

The Strut Diameter, we will make the same as the Shaft Diameter.

How you do this is click on the corresponding N,

click on Calculation tab, click inside the Calculation box,

and select Shaft Diameter For The Handle.

And click OK.

Now you have to click on the value of the Strut Diameter.

Click on the Dropdown, and select Calculate.

Now it will calculate and be the same as the Shaft

Color #2 can be set to equal Color #1.

Color #3 needs to be just slightly less

So we're going to do a calculation for that.

And just do it at 99% of the open length.

Now we are going to unlock every dimension that

Another tip is when making a lot of changes,

click OK and go back in and edit the item

So let's just do that.

Now we are going to add our unlocked values to our product

So click on the Edit Product List button.

In the toolbar is New.

That is how we add our new dimensions.

Select Which-- this is a dropdown that list all

of your unlocked dimensions.

User Must Enter-- this must be checked on connection sizes

So let's add our Diameter #1 our size.

The next one, Diameter #3-- that is not a connection size.

When you've run out of dimensions,

Now we are going to add our Order number, Weight,

and then finally ID.

Then we're going to go back, edit the item.

Now we are going to grab a blank spreadsheet

and add our headers to match the product list.

Next, we are going to enter the dimensional data

Here, all we are given is the length of the valve,

the height of the valve, or diameter of the handle.

So we're going to get this information

into our spreadsheet, have Excel do the calculations

Now we can copy the body.

Go back to the Edit Product List.

Right-click on or below the green line and click Paste.
