  3. Again, zoom in to the scope of work area.

  4. Select the first mechanical space to modify.
  5. Scroll down to the Mechanical Flow category.
  6. Find the "Specified Supply Airflow" parameter and change the value to a value with 50cfm of the "Calculated Supply Airflow".
  7. Continue modifying the remaining mechanical spaces.
  8. As you modify each of those space values, keep an eye on the schedule. the red highlighted areas will disappear when Specified values are within the tolerance of the Calculated values.

  9. If that -50 and +50cfm tolerance is too broad, you can set it to a smaller value.
  10. Note the Specified Supply Airflow column is clear of any highlights showing that we are now within range of the Specified and the Calculated requirements.

  11. To update the Actual and clear the Calculated highlighted fields, you will need to find the supply diffuser to that room and modify its cfm value.
  12. To help coordinate between the remaining diffusers flow rate and the calculated, split the screen in two.
  13. Go to your view tab.
  14. Then the windows panel.
  15. And select Tile Views.

  16. Go back to your floor plan.

  17. Select the first diffuser.
  18. Go to your property tab or the Option bar.
  19. Set the flow to within 10 cfm of the calculated supply airflow.

  20. As you update the diffuser flow, you can see the highlighted fields in the schedule slowly disappear.
  21. To navigate quicker through the model, select the diffuser.

  22. Go to your ribbon and select "highlight in model".
  23. Select that diffuser and change its value.
