Workspace Administration Overview

In this unit, a quick overview of workspace administration is provided before you review workspace configuration options.

Review Workspace Configuration Options - Exercise

In this exercise, you will use Workspace Manager to view the default, out-of-the-box workspaces. 

  1. In the navigation menu, select Administration > Workspace Manager.



  2. Review the list of workspaces, then expand the Design Reviews workspace to view all the configuration options.



  3. Select Workspace Settings to view the workspace name and other settings. Make any changes required, then click Save. Alternatively, click Cancel to return to the Workspace Manager without making changes.



  4. Select Item Details Tab and note the various tabs, sections, and fields that can be changed. Click Cancel to return to the Workspace Manager.



  5. Select Descriptor. Note that the default descriptor for this workspace consists of the Number, Sequence, and Title. Click Cancel to return to the Workspace Manager.



  6. Continue to review the available configuration options for this workspace. If time permits, you can explore other workspaces as well, which will have similar configuration options depending on their type.
