00:22
If using the Vault client
00:24

User name, Email and Password.
00:52
Remember to select the Enable User checkbox to ensure the user is made available.
00:57
You can also select Roles, Vaults and Groups for a user.

Later in the module, you will learn how to create groups.
01:05
If a user belongs to a group,
01:07
they will take on the group's roles and Vault access permissions.
01:12
By assigning users to groups
01:14
and then granting folder membership to those groups,
01:17
you can easily manage users and their access to Vault folders.
01:21
This is the best practice for creating a Vault security model.
01:25
Note that users cannot be deleted but you can disable an account
01:29
so a user can no longer log in to the Vault.
01:33
Note that starting in version 2022
01:36
there are some user interface changes.
01:39
Instead of Manage Users and clicking on New User,
01:42
you select Manage Access then New in the Users tab.
01:47
The New User profile dialog displays for you to enter the required information.
01:52
Note that through the Accounts button,
01:53
you specify either Windows Authentication,
01:56
Vault account or Autodesk ID.
02:02
In this demonstration we create a new user account Using the ADMS Console.

02:09
Administration, then Manage Users.
02:13
