The first task you will learn is how to review and edit roles in Vault.

The roles that are assigned to a user or group when they are created,

determine their permissions to access files and folders

To review and edit the roles,

first log in to the Autodesk Data Management Server Console or ADMS

as an administrator,

then select Administration from the Tools menu.

Or you can log in to the Vault client as an administrator and navigate to Tools>

Administration > Global settings.

Next in the Security tab, select Manage Roles.

The Roles Management dialog box shows Vault's

default out-of-the-box roles and their descriptions.

You can create new roles by selecting the New Role
