Exercise: Add and Manage Issues
Task 1: Adding Issues in the Structure Model
- Log on to your ACC project.
- From the 02-Structure folder, open the Structure Revit model.
- Navigate to the area where you want to add an issue.
- From the toolbar on the right, click the Issues flyout and select Design; the issue type is set to Design.
- Place the issue pin on one of the structural elements that needs to be changed.
- In the Issues panel on the right, enter all the issue details, as shown below.
- Close the Issues
- Repeat this process to add more issues to the elements that require changes. The figure below shows the model with several issues added and displayed as pins.
Task 2: Adding Issues in the Civil DWG File
- From the Civil folder, open the Civil DWG file.
- Using the Sheets & Views panel, open the 3D view.
- Navigate to the area where you want to add an issue.
- From the toolbar on the right, click the Issues flyout and select Design; the issue type is set to Design.
- Place the issue pin on the element that needs to be changed.
- In the Issues panel on the right, enter all the issue details, as shown below.
- Close the Issues
- Repeat this process to add more issues to the elements that require changes.
- Close the DWG file to return to the Files
Task 3: Reviewing All Issues Added in the Project
- From the Navigation Bar on the right, click the Issues tool; all the issues added in the project are displayed, as shown below.
- Click on one of the issues to display the flyout panel with all the information related to the issue.
- Similarly, review the information related to the other issues.
