Our last tab is the library tab.

Click on it and again, you'll find it empty.
00:09
We want to populate it with blocks from somewhere else that can either
00:12
be a folder full of blocks or a drawing that contains blocks,
00:16
which is what we're going to do.
00:18
Click on the library icon to the right of the
00:20
library's pull down to get a file navigation box.
00:23
Choose the supplied file titled architectural imperial
00:27
drawing from the dataset and click open
00:30
the blocks. Pallet will scan the selected file,
00:33
create icons for each block within that drawing
00:36
and populate the panel,
00:38
create as many libraries as you need and quickly change between them.
00:41
With the handy pull down menu,
00:43
you may notice these icons look different than the others. We've seen
00:47
these all have little yellow lightning bolts.
00:50
That is your indicator that the block is a dynamic block.
00:53
I'll place the tree into the drawing
00:56
then select it to show its editing grips.
00:59
Dynamic blocks can contain a myriad of actions that can change the size, shape,
01:03
rotation, et cetera of the block.
01:05
Each type of action or parameter has its own type of grip.
01:09
This tree block has a visual states grip
01:12
as indicated by the downward pointing triangle.
01:15
I'll click on it to display the state's menu.
01:17
Choose type two deciduous plan.
