allows product manufacturers to publish their product designs for Revit designers to use within their design models.

As an Informed Design user, you are the author and publisher of the parametric Inventor model data.

You create predefined content with applied product rule sets and publish a product definition to the web application.

Then, Revit designers can download and place these product definitions directly into their models.

Open an Inventor model, such as this staircase assembly.

Some parameters have been defined within the model, as well as some iLogic to control the model directly.

Note that it is helpful for Informed Design users to have experience with Inventor drawings,

When the Informed Design add-in is installed, you can see the Informed Design tab on the Inventor ribbon.
