Both can be useful in any drawing, but we'll go ahead and use them in the yard layout.

The ID command can be accessed either by typing in ID or by going to the home tab

I needed to find the coordinate values or spatial values for the fence line.

I can type in ID,

grab the end point of the fence here

It echoes back the X,

You can access the command either by typing L I enter or go to the home tab

So if I were to type in L I enter

and then let's select that yard area that we just created for grass.

Once I right, click after selecting the object, the command line reports,
