Transcript
00:03
At the foundation of every successful circuit board is its schematic.
00:08
In Fusion, the Schematic Editor is engineered to save design time by providing access to convenient tools and thousands of components.
00:17
To place a component, simply locate and select it from the Place Components library.
00:22
Move your pointer to the desired location, and then click to place the component.
00:28
Once components are placed, you can quickly form connections using the net and bus functionality,
00:34
which enable you to easily interconnect circuits across multiple sheets.
00:39
In this example, a couple of connections are created, and a resistor is added.
00:45
The Schematic Editor enables you to group nets into classes with common properties, further simplifying the design process.
00:52
Here, a group of LEDs are selected to make a bus.
00:57
Then, the bus route is drawn, and nets are created to connect the nets from the bus to pins.
01:05
With tools such as electrical rule checks, customized attribute assignments, and hierarchical design capabilities,
01:13
the Schematic Editor makes quick work of even the most sophisticated schematic designs.
