Reviewing the results of an EPS as animations

Use the Report Manager tools to animate selected EPS results.

Once you have successfully run a hydraulic model through an E P S,

The pump turns light blue indicating that it is selected

The display delay indicates the amount of time

Step-by-step:

Once you have successfully run a hydraulic model through an EPS, you can review the results using the Attribute tab of the Model Explorer, and you can create animations of the results using the tools in the Report Manager.

  1. Open the appropriate .aprx file in ArcGIS Pro.
  2. From the ribbon, InfoWater Pro tab, Project panel, click Initialize.
  3. In the model, zoom to the area near pump P-140.
  4. On the ribbon, InfoWater Pro tab, View panel, click Report Manager.

  1. In the Report Manager dialog box, click New.

  1. In the Output Report/Graph, Graph Report tab, select Pump Curve.
  2. Click Open.

  1. In the model, select pump P-140.

  1. In the Report Manager dialog box, click Display Settings.

  1. In the Display Delay Settings, set Display Delay to 100 milliseconds.

The display delay indicates the amount of time the graph will pause at each displayed timestep.

  1. Set Stepping Interval to 1.

The stepping interval of 1 indicates that each output timestep will be displayed (a value of 2 would skip every other time step).

  1. Click OK.

The animation curve allows you to see where the pump operated over the time of the simulation.

  1. Click Hide.

Any report in InfoWater Pro can be customized using this tool. Every report and graph in the Report Manager is saved in its current state until it is manually removed, refreshed, or the model is closed.
