Export AutoCAD project point data to CSV using the Export Points tool in Autodesk Point Layout.

When working in Autodesk Point Layout,

you can use the Export Points tool to create a CSV file containing data about all the points in your project.

With a project open, right-click and select Point Layout > Export Points.

In the Export Points to File dialog, set the Point Export Order to XYZ, the Point Selection to Select All, and the Output Units to Decimal Feet.

To avoid duplicate point numbers, enable Check for Duplicate Point #’s.

Then, expand the Extension drop-down and select csv.

Note that you can also set elevations to 100 feet, if you want to ignore elevation.

Expand the Export Precision drop-down and select how many decimal places you want to show in your values.

If you created a new coordinate system, click Coordinate System to select it, then click OK.

Click Filter to break your project out into groups by point number, description, system, layer, or elevation.
