00:23
Begin with a sheet metal part already designed.
00:26
In this example, the sheet metal part is already placed within an assembly as a component.
00:33
In the graphics window, right-click the sheet metal part and click Edit.
00:38
This opens the Sheet Metal environment.
00:41

The Corner Round dialog displays.
00:49
In the graphics window, click to select each outside corner of the initial face.

In the table, Radius column, set the radius to 1 mm.

except corners that result from intersections between the feature and other sheet metal faces.
01:26
If you wish to add rounds with a different radius, you can always add another corner set.
01:31
For now, use only one corner set.
01:35
Click OK.
01:37
With sheet metal parts, corner rounds act like a fillet operation specifically for sheet metal,
01:43
which ensures that your design will be flat patterned accurately.
