The Fillet command is a feature that rounds the edges of a solid body
00:08
by removing material from exterior edges or adding material to interior edges.
00:14
With a model open in Fusion, on the Design workspace toolbar, click Solid > Modify > Fillet.
00:21
This opens the Fillet dialog.
00:24
You can set your fillet type and radius here.
00:28
By default, Type is set to Fillet and the Radius is set to Constant.
00:33
As you move the pointer over the body, you are prompted to select an edge.
00:38
On the canvas, select an edge of your model, and the fillet appears.
00:42
To adjust the radius of the fillet, drag the radius manipulator handle on the canvas.
00:48
You can also adjust the fillet radius by specifying a radius value.
00:53
Enter a value, and once you have completed filleting the edge, in the Fillet dialog, click OK.
01:00
The fillet feature appears in the Timeline.
01:04
To edit this fillet feature, such as adding additional edges, right-click the feature in the Timeline and select Edit feature.
01:12
The Fillet dialog opens again, and you are prompted to modify the selection.
01:17
In the dialog, notice that you can see the number of edges selected in the feature.
01:22
To apply edits to more than one edge, press and hold Ctrl,
01:26
and this time, select another edge of the model.
01:30
Notice that the same fillet value applies to this new selection.
01:34
You can also add another fillet value to this design without creating multiple fillet features.
01:40
In the dialog, click Add selection set.
01:44
Back on the canvas, select all the edges you want to fillet, and then enter a radius value.
01:51
Now, there are multiple edges with different fillet values, all under one fillet command.
01:56
Back in the dialog, click OK.
01:59
To quickly access the Fillet command, use the keyboard shortcut.
02:03
Simply press F, and the Fillet dialog opens.
