We could do a rendering here
00:06
and we could save to a file at the same time,
00:09
but we could also use the Arnold render view for production rendering.
00:12
So let's do that.
00:13
We can close the render setup dialogue,
00:15
go back to the Arnold render view.
00:18
The size of that window expands automatically
00:20
to accommodate the 1080 by 1080 resolution.
00:24
And we can go ahead and initiate
00:26
that interactive production rendering
00:28
once that's begun just to make sure that we don't
00:31
trigger a new rendering by clicking on anything in macs,
00:35
we can disable or hold the scene updates
00:38
and that will allow this rendering to complete.
00:42
So we can take a look down here at our progress indicator.
00:46
And when that reaches 100%
00:48
that hopefully means that the rendering has completed.
00:52
But it may be the case that
00:54
it will reach 100% in this progress bar
00:58
but not actually be finished.
01:00
And that is in fact the case exactly what's happened now,
01:04
that progress indicator reached 100%
01:07
but that was just the preview pass, it's still rendering.
01:10
And if you look closely, you can see that
01:12
we're still getting some buckets being drawn.
01:15
Now, if you're not sure whether it's still rendering or not,
01:19
I recommend you open up the task manager.
01:21
You can launch the task manager in windows
01:24
using the keyboard shortcut control shift escape.
01:28
And then you can go to the performance tab and
01:31
this will show the CPU usage.
01:34
Once that goes back down to zero,
01:36
then you'll know that the rendering has completed.
01:39
Once that rendering is finished, we can close the task manager
01:43
and we can navigate around in the Arnold render view with the middle mouse button.
01:47
Examine our work
01:49
and we can save the image in the frame buffer. Here
01:52
go to the file menu in the Arnold render view
01:54
to save image.
01:56
We want to save into the render output folder of our current project
02:01
and the file format will be determined by whatever extension we type in here.
02:06
If I type in radio dot exr,
02:09
then we're going to save and open exr document,
02:12
click save.
02:14
And we can check that by going to the file menu
02:16
to view image file,
02:19
navigate to the render output folder.
02:22
Here it is render output
02:24
and there's our A XR document
02:26
open that up. We can go through the open
02:29
XR configuration just click. OK.
02:32
And here's our final image,
02:34
it shrunk down to a
02:38
but we can zoom in of course using the wheel
02:41
and we can see that it looks identical to the Arnold render view.
