Practice Exercise: Make changes to the UI and save the settings

interface and save the settings to a workspace.

The first thing you'll need to do is minimize

the ribbon for the image and the exercise.

Click on the ribbon customization icon

and select minimize the tabs.

we'll float the dimension panel,

then place your mouse cursor to the right

press the select button on your mouse and drag the panel into the drawing editor.

Now we'll modify the quick access toolbar,

then check layer and match properties to add them

and uncheck. Save to web and mobile to remove it.

Next, we'll open and anchor some pallets

from the home tab. Click on layer properties.

anchor left on each so that they are in that order top to bottom.

Now let's make some changes to the status bar.

Click the three bar customization menu and turn on coordinates

and remove iso drafting and clean screen.

Also turn on display workspace label.

Finally save your UI changes to a new workspace named per you're choosing,

click on the gear icon in the status bar and select save current ads

once created,

switch to drafting and annotation and then back again to your new workspace.
