Revising released items in Upchain

Module overview

Explore how the change process can be initiated using Investigation requests. We then look at how to revise items to make the required changes and some best practices surrounding this process. Finally, we look at how to submit items to subsequent Change requests and what aspects of this process are different from initial Change requests. You’ll find the content of this module common practice when determining the finished state of your items in Upchain.

• Describe the purpose of an Investigation request
• Revise a released item in the web application and describe when you would use this approach
• Revise a released item in the Mechanical CAD plugin and describe when you would use this approach
• Send the revised item to a new Change request, and identify what has changed between revisions
