In the ReCap cloud viewer, you can use Eye Dome Lighting to add highlights that accentuate the edges of shapes in your point clouds.

You can access this setting by clicking Visualization Settings at the bottom of the screen.

From here, there are several ways to visualize your point cloud.

You can use Normal Mapping, Intensity Color, Elevation Color, Shading, or RGB color.

To see the effect of eye dome lighting, first, zoom in to see how the point cloud looks with Elevation Color selected.

Here, you can see the power lines and rough outlines of cars, but many of the objects are not recognizable.

As a comparison, click Visualization Settings again and select Eye Dome Lighting to accentuate shapes with an outline.

Now, you can see what is happening in the intersection, because objects are highlighted and easier to recognize.

Notice that the point cloud continues to be regenerated and refined.
