Select Append.
00:30
In the Append dialog, navigate to the files you want to add.
00:35
In this example, two files are selected.
00:38
Click Open.
00:40
The selected files merge and open in the project.
00:45
Orbit the model and review it for accuracy.
00:48
Then, save the project.
00:51
From the Quick Access Toolbar, select the Application button.
00:56
From the drop-down, select Save As.
00:60

01:13
Select the NWF file format to save the scene you created by bringing all model files together.
01:21
Select the NWD file format when you simply want a snapshot of your current work.
01:28
Both formats store the review markups, but NWD files store the file geometry, and NWF files store the links to original files.
01:41
This makes NWF files smaller.
01:45
When you open an NWF file, Navisworks automatically reloads all modified referenced files,
01:53
which means the geometry is always up-to-date, even for the most complex models.
01:60
For this example, NWF is selected.
02:04
Click Save.
02:06
Appending and merging multiple files into a single project in Navisworks enables you to coordinate projects effortlessly.
