In ReCap Pro, you can automatically classify scan data into ground and non-ground points.
00:11
From the Home tile menu, click Automatic Ground Classification.
00:17
You can select one of the predefined level-of-detail options for processing the data for terrain and features,
00:24
or you can select Custom for additional options.
00:28
Click Start Processing to perform the automatic classification of visible points.
00:35
Once processed, select Display Settings > Color Mode > Classification to display the point cloud in different colors,
00:43
based on the classification.
00:46
In this example, using the Project Navigator makes it easy to distinguish the ground points from the unclassified.
00:53
This ability to filter points by classification allows you to export only the points you need to build a surface.
01:02
Recap Pro unifies the project scans into a single file,
01:06
and that file can be used inside design software for surface creation.
