Use the Justification Editor toolset to justify the position of ducts.
When using Autodesk Revit for ductwork, it may need to be justified (aligned) along the tops, bottoms, or sides of the ductwork in a section of the system. For example, if a building design calls for more space in certain areas, realigning ducts can make room for other conduits or improve floor plan efficiency.
Note: Specify Wireframe for Visual Style before using the Justification Editor.
In this example, the ducts are currently justified to the center of the smaller duct at the end of this run. The two ducts in this run are highlighted in blue to indicate that they are selected.
The Justification Editor contextual ribbon opens.
In the model, note the position of the control point (represented by an arrow) in the center of the smaller duct.
To change the location of the control point:
The smaller ducts are now justified to the top of the larger duct and centered along the direction of the control point:
