With Point Layout for Revit, you can connect points dot to dot with walls, pipe, conduit, cable tray, and model lines.

For example, when connecting underground facilities, you can specify the connection of points with pipes.

For the Connect Points tool, you must import existing field conditions or as-built points.

Also note that prior to using this tool, pipe or conduit needs to be placed in your project already.

With the model open in Revit, on the ribbon, from the Autodesk Point Layout tab, select Connect Points.

In the Point Selection dialog, specify how you want to select the points.

In this example, click Filter, which is the recommended option.

The SearchFilter dialog displays.

From the Point Description group, select a description to filter the points, such as Existing Underground Utilities.
