00:03
As you define specific groups of assets or spaces within Autodesk Tandem, views can be leveraged to store and recall filtered datasets.
00:14
This enables quick navigation among the various assets, spaces, or systems within your facility.
00:21
A view defines which parameters are selected within the Filters panel,
00:26
where filter values are applied, and which columns are included in your inventory.
00:33
It also specifies various viewer settings, such as color-coding, clustering, camera position, focal length, and section planes.
00:42
To navigate saved views, click the Facility views bookmark icon in the header navigation, above the ViewCube.
00:50
This opens the Views dialog.
00:54
Here, views can be organized and displayed by List or Gallery mode.
00:59
To save the current filtered dataset and view settings as a view, click Save As, enter a name, and then click Save.
01:08
Once you have multiple saved views, you can search for them by name.
01:14
If you want to change an existing view, select it, make the appropriate changes, and then click Save.
01:22
You can also select the Save As option to save it as a new view.
01:28
To set the default view for the facility, click the Actions button next to the view name, and then select Make default.
01:37
This view will now be the default state loaded for anyone accessing the facility.
01:43
Note that you can also select Make my default to load this view for yourself, without impacting the views of other users.
01:50
From the Actions menu, you can also delete a view or move a view to a different group.
01:56
Select Move To, and then in the Move To dialog,
01:60
choose an existing group or click New group to create a new group heading for organizing views.
02:07
A similar workflow can be done with data dashboards.
02:11
After creating and working with a dashboard, in the header navigation, click Save to create the new saved dashboard.
02:20
Or, when you are editing an existing saved dashboard, click Save as new.
02:27
This will create a new saved dashboard without overwriting the existing saved dashboard.
02:33
Organizing the saved dashboards is the same workflow as Saved Views.
02:39
Open the corresponding glyph menu for the saved dashboard to start that workflow.
02:46
Saving filtered datasets and settings as views
02:49
enables you to quickly access and analyze the assets, spaces, or systems that are specific to your built asset.
