Styles control the display of a feature line within a drawing and impact how feature lines interact.

You can easily create and edit feature line styles for your project using the Toolspace.

To view the available feature line styles for your drawing, in Toolspace,

on the Settings tab Expand General > Multipurpose Styles > Feature Line Styles.

From here, you can create a new style or edit an existing style.

To edit a style, simply right-click the style and choose Edit, Copy, Find references, Replace with, or Refresh.

To create a new style, right-click Feature Line Styles and select New.

In the Feature Line Style dialog box, type a Name, such as “HWE” for high water elevation, and optionally, add a Description.

Open the Profile tab, and under Object Display, you can adjust the Beginning, Internal and Ending Vertex Marker Styles.

In this case, select Standard for each vertex.

Next to the Beginning Vertex, expand the style options drop-down, and select Edit Current Selection.

In the Marker Style dialog box, for this example, in the Marker tab, click the X.

Under Size, set the value to .05 inches and review the Options, leaving Use drawing scale selected.

Also, select the square and de-select the circle.

The outer line is the top of pond, the inner line is the bottom, and the middle line is the high-water mark.

Under Component Display, in the Visible column, click the icon to turn visibility on or off.
