Fusion is a great tool for collaborating and sharing with internal and external teams, as well as with your clients.
00:10
All your information is in one place and on the cloud,
00:14
meaning anyone with view or edit privileges can access it from anywhere anytime.
00:19
Once Fusion is installed, open it using your Autodesk account credentials.
00:24
When you log on for the first time, you have the option to join or set up your own Fusion team hub.
00:30
A team is a collection of people and the design data they are working on.
00:35
If you are the first in your organization to use Fusion, then you will only see the option to create your own team.
00:41
Teams to join are automatically populated based on the domain name matching that of your e-mail address.
00:47
If these match, and the team owner has allowed people from your domain to join, you will find them in the list.
00:54
For now, you can create your own.
00:56
Click Create a Team, enter a team name and click Next.
01:03
Select whether to allow discovery, then click Create.
01:07
Fusion will then open, and after some introductory messages, you see the user interface.
01:13
You can confirm you are in the team hub by opening the Data Panel,
01:16
where you see the team name in the upper left.
01:20
Expand the team drop-down list to switch to another team that you are a member of.
01:24
Before looking at team management, Take a quick tour of some useful features of the interface:
01:30
Click the Autodesk Account icon and select Preferences.
01:34
Here you can set your modelling orientation, pan, zoom, and orbit shortcuts, as well as default units and value display.
01:43
Next, click the Help icon and select Show Learning Panel.
01:48
The Learning Panel is an interactive guide to help you get up and running with Fusion.
01:53
Once it is open, clicking a tool, such as Sketch, changes the Learning Panel content interactively.
02:01
From the Application bar, click Show Data Panel.
02:05
This is where you manage your projects, files, and cloud assets, as well as access training sample files.
02:12

02:16
you can access the Fusion web client, where you can manage user access rights and transfer data from your personal hub to a team hub.

03:51
Return to the Autodesk Account drop-down and click Admin to open the Admin settings.
03:56
