Transcript
00:03
The ReCap Viewer includes several project measurement tools that provide an approximate distance with different thresholds of precision.
00:10
With the ReCap Viewer in Point Cloud View, click Measure at the bottom of the view to expand an array of instant measurement tools,
00:18
which you can use to do the following:
00:20
With the default Distance tool active, select two points to display the linear distance between them,
00:26
as well as their distance from one another along the X, Y, and Z axes.
00:33
Click Angle, and then select three points to display the angle in degrees of the three points.
00:41
Click Calibrate, and then manually add a distance between two selected points to calibrate the measurement tools.
00:49
This information is saved and adjusts other measurements accordingly.
00:53
Click Measure Settings to view and select the current Unit Type and Precision for the project.
00:59
Click Done to close the measurement tools array.
01:02
Note that measurements persist within the current browser session and will display when the Measure tool is clicked again.
