Deploying Maya Batch on the Cloud

Before deploying Maya Batch on the Cloud, you must run the cleanMayaForCloud.py Python script to make your Windows version of Maya 2018 cloud compliant.
To do this:

  1. Save the cleanMayaForCloud.py Python script to your Maya install directory.
    For example: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2018.
  1. Open a command prompt as an administrator.
  2. In the command prompt, type cd C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2018.
  3. Then type bin\mayapy.exe cleanMayaForCloud.py to execute the script.

After the script completes, you can deploy Maya Batch on Cloud. Note that some previously supported file formats may no longer work.

Note: If you install a Maya patch or update, you need to re-run the cleanMayaForCloud.py Python script to make Maya cloud compliant again.
